Who doesn't love Christmas? I know I love the holiday season, as I always get back home, where I get to see all the relatives and to eat all the food, with the Christmas Eve dinner, the Christmas Day lunch and the New Year's dinner of course. But just before heading home for Christmas this year I decided to make a small stop and to visit my second home in Italy. This turned out to be one of the best ideas ever this year, cause I got to spend a couple of days with my mum and enjoy the festive season in Italy. Oh, and I also had an early Christmas dinner. So, so good! Apparently, Santa knew my Italian address as well, because I received my gifts there. (He really started giving presents early this year, I guess we all want to be home for Christmas, don't we?) So, I got my new camera and started taking photos of Christmas decorations and decided to share them with you. You can click on the photos for more information and don't forget to have an extraordinary Merry Christmas! :) P.S. Don't Read This

I walked alone down the pitch-black street. My shadow was my only companion. I walked aimlessly without direction. The only thing I could hear was the sound of my steps on the pavement, and that sound marked the minutes. The stars slowly emerged in the sky, drawing a path on which I dreamed I was walking aimlessly, without direction. I walked alone for years and my steps counted the minutes, the hours, the days. The path led me to the river, to the shore, to the pine woods. I walked down the road, thinking that I will never stop walking, I thought that I love the road, more than everything, more than anyone. |
