“Just another town, another train Waiting in the morning rain”
You can go almost anywhere by train in the Netherlands. I think that during my master’s, I took the train more times than in my entire life before that. And I loved it. I have always liked trains. What I rarely noticed before were the train stations. In the Netherlands that was simply impossible. The railway stations are the first thing you notice in a new town and you can immediately get a feeling of the place, just by looking at the train station buildings. Needless to say, I was fascinated by the train stations in each town I was visiting. They were the first thing I was taking pictures of, as each of them were so different from the ones before. Of course, a photo of the train station in Tilburg, the one I used the most, is missing as it was under construction for almost the whole year I spent there. But here are photos featuring some of the other railway stations of the towns I visited while living in Holland.
